Our Adventure: When Coffee Meets Bagel 

It started as many modern love stories do. With a profile and swipe. 

Jenn was instantly intrigued by Steve’s charming smile and highly necessary gym selfies. Steve, meanwhile, was completely captivated by Jenn's beauty. Jenn, proving she's the one who gets things done, made the first move. And just like that, they bonded over the two most important food groups: pizza and BBQ. 

Our First Date: A True Test (of Taste Buds) 

Naturally, the first date had to be over pizza. Steve, the ever-eager romantic, arrived early. He still remembers the moment he saw Jenn—driving by in her purple Jeep, smiling and waving. He thought, "Yep, total babe." 

They rolled the dice and let the chef choose their meal—a move that perfectly captured their dynamic. Steve adored Jenn's openness to adventure, and Jenn appreciated Steve's easy, 'go-with-the-flow' personality. This date wasn't just about the food; it set the tone for all the grand adventures to come. 

Better Together: Through Sickness and Health (and Extreme Hiking) 

Quickly, their love grew to match their active lifestyles. They traded swipes for cycles and profile scrolls for mountain trails. They started traveling the world together, sharing dreams of future journeys, which soon became reality. 

• They saw the Chicago Bears play in 15-degree weather (a true test of devotion!).
• They woke up at 5 a.m. for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC (spoiler alert: they did not beat the crowd). 
• They trained together for a grueling 20-mile extreme charity hike in the Vail Mountains. 
• They drove 400 miles to tent camp in Yellowstone, saw a bear on a hike at the Tetons, and chased the magic of the Northern Lights at Mount Rainier.
• They biked 3,000 vertical meters on Eiger Mountain in the Swiss Alps.  

Through every challenging climb and freezing tailgate, they discovered what true partnership means: challenging each other, but more importantly, depending on one another. 

Their travels became a mirror for the more serious obstacles life threw their way. Already, they have experienced profound ups and downs. In a real-life test of the most sacred vow, they stood by each other through sickness and health, proving their commitment before they ever made it to the altar. They saw each other at their most vulnerable, and in doing so, their love didn’t just survive—it became unbreakable. 

The Proposal: Across the World, Forever in Paris 

Their greatest adventure led them across the world to London, then by train to Paris. It was there, in front of the Eiffel Tower, Steve knelt down and asked Jenn to be his wife. 

Their partnership is now, and forever will be, a promise: 

A commitment to love and cherish, for better or for worse, whether they’re tackling a mountain in the Swiss Alps or simply choosing takeout on a Tuesday. A vow to be there for richer, for poorer, supporting each other's dreams, whether they’re globetrotting or saving up for their next big purchase. And most certainly, a pledge to stand side-by-side in sickness and in health, because they’ve already faced some of the toughest challenges and know their bond is stronger than any obstacle. 

They have already built a lifetime of commitment, laughter, and courage. Now, they are ready to make it official and can’t wait to share their next incredible adventure—getting married in Mexico—with all of you!
